Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Bronze, 17 mm, 3.08 g, 12 h), a contemporary imitation of an issue from Siscia, irregular mint, after 318. OXLDXDZXO - OZXDZXG Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine to left, holding spear over his right shoulder and decorated shield on his left. Rev. OZXO OZOXOZO OOZD / O O Two Victories standing facing each other and holding shield inscribed with three ~ and pellets over altar. Repatinated and with minor traces of corrosion on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.

On both sides of this contemporary imitation, the legends have been stamped into the dies with four punches: D, O, X and a reversed S.
